Scott wrote voices on an acoustic guitar. It's inspired by a friend who's thrown away a tremendous amount of good in his life. More melancholic in nature, Voices reveals 90s post-punk influences and blends it with the modern ska renaissance in the chorus. The piano-based intro added a haunting dimension to Voices that in our opinion honestly emphasizes the sincerity of the lyrics.
