Written on the acoustic guitar originally, Back to Life is inspired by the first true day of Spring, (in the Toronto, Canada area) because winter is so gruelling and hard on the body and soul . It's a song about relief. This is a songwriter song by Scott and the full band did a phenomenal job of building it out into an indie-rock and reggae rocker with big drum rolls, guitar inflections and a huge guitar lead by Exworth.
